ABOUT MEGRAME
MEGRAME was established on 26 March 1992 and is the largest manufacturer of PVC, wood and aluminum doors and windows in Lithuania and the Baltic States.
In 1996 MEGRAME entered into a partnership with GEALAN WERK FICKENSCHER GmbH (Germany) - a leading European producer of PVC profiles and as a result GEALAN BALTIC was formed. GEALAN BALTIC now compounds, extrudes and distributes PVC profiles at the MEGRAME facilities.
Since 1999 MEGRAME has produced wood windows, facades, patio and entry doors, using only the highest quality materials and employing advanced German technologies. Modern manufacturing equipment has been designed and manufactured by Michael Weinig AG and Hess Technology, industry leaders in wood processing equipment and technology. Constant investments into new technology and equipment ensure the highest quality of MEGRAME wood windows and doors.
In 2002 a fully automated LISEC glass sheet cutting line was installed at MEGRAME. It is one of the most modern lines in Europe that optimizes, cuts and grinds glass quickly and economically. In 2003 a fully automated integrated LISEC insulated glass unit manufacturing line was added to the system increasing our efficiency and production.
The PVC production facility has ongoing renovations that began in 2003 and are continuing through 2005, with future growth scheduled. Improvements include tripling the output capacity of our PVC window and PVC door production capacity in 2003, additional extrusion presses were added in 2004, PVC compounding on site along with production and extrusion capacities are once again being increased in 2005.
In 2003 a new wood profile cutting machine a UNICONTROL 10 was installed in our wood production facility. This machine produces various profiles for wood products automatically with computer assured precision and uniformity.
Production capacity of wood products has continued it’s remarkable growth in 2005 as exports to Western Europe and the U.S. have increased. We have a wide international market presence in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, USA, Canada, Russia and Ukraine.

QUALITY AND WARRANTY
MEGRAME products were certified in order to be in compliance with the quality standards LST EN ISO 14001:2004 and LST EN ISO 9001:2008. Windows and doors were several times nominated as the best Lithuanian Product of the Year. All manufactured windows and doors have passed quality tests and all their technical characteristics (noise control, coefficient of heat transmission, hinges durability, waterproof and windproof capabilities) were certificated. Windows and doors have CE marking.
